FISHING
The best spots are lovers point, the break wall, Whiting Beach, middle wall, Oyster Channel or Lake Wooloweyah. Blue Dolphin Holiday Resort has motor boats available for hire, as you will need one to get to some of the best fishing locations.
HORSE RIDING

WHALE WATCHING
The ideal time to spot whales from the Yamba coastline is between August and September. The Southern Right Whale and the Humpback whale are the two most common species of whale to be sighted in the area. Various tour companies offer whale watching cruises, providing the once-in-a-lifetime experience of getting up close to these magnificent creatures.
SEA KAYAKING
Action Adventure Tours run half day and full day tours, which include refreshment breaks. The variety of surf conditions at Yamba’s beaches mean that anyone of any skill level can jump in and give it a go.
YAMBA MARKETS
Every fourth Sunday of the month is the time for the Yamba River Markets, with local produce and homemade trinkets featuring prominently. There is a great small town community atmosphere with entertainment for everyone.
WATER SPORTS
People with Ski boats and Personal Watercraft are sure to find some There are fantastic river locations to be discovered for those who enjoy wake boarding, water skiing and jet skiing. Wind surfing is popular both in the Clarence river and the ocean.
Various sporting equipment is available for rent from the Blue Dolphin Holiday Resort. Catamarans, canoes, paddle boats, motor boats and even yabbie pumps are available to the general public, not just resort guests.
