Not so long ago people were very scared of booking holidays online, or purchasing anything really in fear of being taken to the cleaners by another dodgy money making scam. However, with our busy lifestyles, purchasing goods online is considered as good, if not better then going into a store.
In a previos life I worked in marketing for a real estate agent in Japan that sold a lot of properties to investors from other countries without seeing the property in person. But what about purchasing real estate via an auction? I could not comprehend the rush! I get nervous watching an auction on Ebay for a pair of sneakers! But it seems others don’t and are prepared to buy property, like the Yamba Surf Motel via online auctions. The property went for just under $2 million.
